Hey Penny
The client, Lucky Loop, introduced Penny as a new original character IP through the “Hey Penny” video. Penny is described as a little girl with two upward pigtails, a walking little sun who brings warmth, brightness, and unfiltered emotion into everyday life.
Created as a character launch animation, the piece presents Penny’s world through soft colours, hand-drawn textures, floating clouds, flowers, and expressive character movement. The animation captures her bright and sincere personality: someone who feels everything fully, laughs with her whole heart, and cries without holding back. Through 2D animation, the project brings Penny’s emotional world to life, introducing her as a playful, tender, and untamed part of ourselves that we may miss as we grow up.
