Nobody
Nobody “浪浪山小妖怪” is a 2025 Chinese 2D animated feature film directed by Yu Shui and produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio and its partners. Adapted from The Summer of the Little Monster, an episode from Yao Chinese Folktales, the film reimagines Journey to the West through the eyes of four ordinary little yaoguai, turning a classic mythological world into a story about small characters, everyday struggles, and the courage to set out.
The film became the highest-grossing 2D animated film in China, marking an important milestone for contemporary Chinese hand-drawn animation. I worked on selected shots across the feature film’s animation production, contributing to the full 2D animation process from rough animation through tie-down, clean-up, and colour.
